Mercy springs from love. Retribution never follows from love.
"I require mercy, not sacrifice." I am merciful to myself now.
I release myself from my old demand for sacrifice.
I treat myself with love, respecting the Life that is living me.
Merciful to myself, I must bring mercy to all people.
I am so grateful for the Compassion that makes mercy
make sense. And so it is.
