Forest Floor Star Flower
I am a radiant expression of the Universal, along with everyone else.
Though I appear to stand alone, I am secretly connected with all that is.
The Universal within me, within all, is my intrinsic unity with all that is.
I am only an individualization of the One, the Universal. And so is
everyone else. Yet the Universal is greater than the sum of us all.
I am so grateful for my unity with this Greatness now.
And so it is.

I LOVE these little flowers! They create a magical carpet amongst the moss on our forest floor! Now I know what to call them. Not that they would answer to that name, but for my own satisfaction. Or to sound knowledgeable.
ReplyDeleteI love these little flowers, too. My title was meant to be more descriptive. Looking them up, however, they are called Pacific starflower, western starflower or oval-leaved starflower. Taxonomic name is Trientalis borealis subsp. latifolia - in the primrose family (primulaceae). More fun to enjoy seeing them in full bloom in June. Often seven-petaled, like this one.
